Yes, I'm a bit of a Harry Potter fan. No, I don’t wear glasses and don’t run with a stick. I just re-read all the books in the series every time a new one came out. And every time I was upset by the quality of these poor crafts that were sold “based on” the series. Well, it doesn’t look like it at all!

And then, about a year ago, I came across these wonderful sparkles. I tried to pour them into resin and it became obvious that they were not floating inside, but some kind of thick golden liquid was pouring out.

It was then that I remembered the good luck potion (or felix felicis). And those terrible pendants that are sold in China “based on them”.

And just recently I bought beautiful little bottles and...

In general, I immediately began to mix the resin. I use thick PEO-10K-20/0 . Mix 3.3 cubes of resin to 1 cube of hardener. It is very convenient to glue the syringe into the cork of each bottle and immediately draw the required amount.

I usually stir for 8-10 minutes. Baby food jars and bamboo skewers are very helpful here. To make the resin mix better, I always warm it up a little in a water bath (put a mug of water in the microwave for 30 seconds). Well, all that remains is to wait 3 hours.

While we wait, let's prepare our bottles... They know how to make beauty in China! It's also so inexpensive.

Now heat the resin again in a water bath and mix in the glitter. I throw them into a jar using a match or tongs. It is better to mix carefully so that bubbles do not appear. They may not have time to leave. Why so much hassle with waiting three hours? Well, this way our sparkles won’t settle to the bottom. Fresh resin is so fluid that this is bound to happen. By the way, fresh epoxy does not like moisture. Be careful with water and steam.

Next you need gloves, 2 syringes and lots and lots of magic! The first fill is not so difficult. I simply picked up the resin (without a needle, of course) and forcefully pushed it into the bottle. Then I waited a little and immediately collected what came out. Yes, some of the resin will come out back due to air pressure, but the drops manage to fall to the bottom quite quickly.

The second fill is more difficult. I poured phosphor on the bottom... which is not visible there, and then I filled the neck of the bottle with resin and tried to expel the air with a match. When I got tired of it, I pumped out the bubbles through a syringe. Yes, with one layer everything would have been much simpler, but I wanted magic. Make a sparkling blue potion, above which a greenish phosphor will rise as a fog. And it seems that I even succeeded!
