How to make a real magic wand? Magic at home!

Is it worth making amulets yourself?

Being interested in amulets, people learn that they can not only be bought, but also made with their own hands. At this moment they wonder if some rules prohibit doing this? Wouldn't it be better to entrust this task to a professional?

There is no single point of view on this issue. One half of the esoteric community is sure that only a person with magical abilities can make a working talisman. Another believes that a homemade amulet has much greater power than a purchased one or one made by a master.

By making a talisman, a person saturates the thing with his energy. Thanks to this, the amulet initially begins to perceive him as its owner, and therefore gets along with him faster and better.

The second theory is more popular, but everyone decides for themselves what is closer to them. In any case, a handmade amulet cannot carry negativity. Of course, if, while working on it, you don’t think about something bad.

Magic wand for a little fairy

Little fairies also need a real magic wand. There is no need to do it according to all the rules, because children have the power to change the world with the help of fantasies, so the wand should only help your daughter feel like a fairy fairy!

Take a piece of ribbon or fabric and cut it into narrow strips. It will look more interesting if the stripes are of different colors. The more there are, the more magnificent the magic wand, or rather its top, will be. Gather the cut strips into a fluffy pompom. It can be complemented with beads and satin or silk ribbons. We wrap the stick itself with ribbon or paint it in the desired color. Let's assemble our wand by attaching our pompom to it! The wand is ready, even a child can make this!

Rules for making amulets

Creating amulets at home is not compatible with haste. Before undertaking this activity, it is advisable to read the recommendations of knowledgeable people. They will help you make a working amulet, avoiding common mistakes.

Only natural materials are suitable for amulets.

What materials are used

When making amulets, you can take the following materials:

  • Paper . Paper talismans are the simplest. They are quickly made, and if desired, they can be easily replaced with new ones.
  • Threads . Items made from threads are lightweight. This is their advantage, because such talismans are much more convenient to take on the road.
  • Textile . Burlap amulets are more durable than paper ones, and some of them are even washable. For example, fabric bags.
  • Tree . For amulets, they take not only the wood itself, but also its bark. It is known that birch bark was regularly used for Slavic amulets.
  • Dough . Special figures are made from salt dough. They are baked, painted, and then decorated and hung on the wall.
  • Leather and fur . These materials are not clear-cut. On the one hand, they are natural, and on the other, they carry the energy of a killed animal. And this is not very good.
  • Stones . It is important to consider compatibility with a specific instance here. The downside is that not everyone can process them.
  • Metals . The situation is the same as with stones.

Artificial materials are not purchased for future amulets. If the leather is natural, if the threads are wool or cotton. And no plastic!

You can make a talisman from only one material or from several at once. The main thing is that they are combined with each other. Well, so that you are satisfied with the result.

Common Mistakes

When making an amulet, you need to be aware of what to avoid. Often, inexperienced masters neglect simple and well-known rules, so their amulets do not work.

What you need to know to make the right talisman:

  1. Consider the time of creation. Some amulets are recommended to be made at midnight, while others at dawn.
  2. Find out if you can use needles and scissors. For example, when they shake Slavic jerks, these tools are only partially used. Perhaps other amulets also have such nuances.
  3. Check if you have chosen the right colors. Slavic craftsmen paid attention not only to materials, but also to colors. Each of the shades on the made amulet carried an encrypted message.
  4. Ask if, after making an amulet, you need to read a spell over it. Some magical attributes will not work without special activation.
  5. Make sure there are no distractions. Focusing on the process helps concentrate the power that the artist transfers to his creation. If you are distracted by conversations, you will end up with a dummy.

From a pencil

The pencil must be wooden. Plastic objects are not able to contain magical energy.

The choice of pencil is also important; only intuition will help here. You need to go through different options until your heart tells you that this is the one. Don't be afraid of missing the right pencil. Usually there is a very vivid feeling that is difficult to miss.

If the pencil is old, then you need to roll it between your palms for two minutes. This is necessary to cleanse the object of foreign energy. A newly purchased pencil does not need this.

After this, you need to sharpen the pencil, even if it is already sharpened. It is desirable that it does not break and is sharp enough.

After all the preparations, you can begin the main part of the ritual. The ritual is performed exclusively in the evening after 6 o’clock and only on odd days of the week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). The order is as follows:

  1. First, the room is prepared. There should be a minimum of light in it; you can leave a table lamp on. There should also be no other people and no pets in the house.
  2. Then you need to stand in the center of the room with your back to the windows. Hold the pencil between your teeth, close your eyes and stand there for at least a minute.
  3. Take the pencil in your hands and stretch them out in front of you.
  4. Hold it in both hands and cast the following spell 3 times: “Become my faithful assistant! Take in the magic, all the good magic that you can contain!”
  5. It is necessary to pronounce words in a quiet voice.

That's not all. The pencil should lie under the pillow for three full nights, during which the hostess or owner must go to bed early and sleep soundly. It is advisable to first wrap it in black or just dark fabric. And after a few days, the pencil will completely absorb all the energy and will be ready for use.

If the ritual did not work, it means that the pencil was chosen incorrectly. The ritual is allowed to be performed again only after 1 month.

What amulets can you make?

Making a talisman yourself is not as difficult as it seems. We are used to amulets being made from expensive metals. But it was not always so. In the past, more budget-friendly materials were used.

Previously, handicrafts were also practiced for ritual purposes. Artist Eugenio-Zampigni.

A simple amulet does not mean weak. Even the most beautiful thing made of gold will not bring good luck and help its owner if the master made it without a soul, and the owner of the jewelry does not believe in its power at all.

Pendants and other wearables

Our ancestors were very fond of body amulets. Usually they made and wore pendants with sacred symbols, but sometimes ancient signs were made on belt pendants, as well as on women’s earrings (Lunnitsa is one of these).

The female symbol Ladinets, as well as its male reflection, the Kolyadnik, were often encountered. It was customary to depict solar symbols on round wooden blocks. Some amulets, like the Ax of Perun, were made in their real (but, of course, reduced) form. The ax is not the only attribute of the thunder god. You can read about other symbols of Perun in the article about the deity himself.

Wrist (bracelets and rings)

Body amulets include not only those worn around the neck, but also amulets for the wrist and fingers. The most famous wrist talisman in the world, the red thread, is tied on the wrist. By the way, here we described in detail how to do this.

Shambhala looks great and protects well at the same time.

But the red thread does not look very nice on the hand. For lovers of beauty, we suggest making Shambhala. The Shambhala bracelet is two in one. A stylish accessory and a powerful Tibetan amulet.

But in Rus' they used rings for protection. The newlyweds had rings made with the Wedding Man. This symbol protected their happiness. You can read about other wedding amulets by following the link.

Amulet dolls

Dolls are an important part of the culture of the ancient Slavs. They were made as amulets for holidays or special occasions (illness, childbirth, travel). Among the most popular mascots for lovers are the Lovebirds and Krupenichka, a doll responsible for a well-fed table.

According to tradition, the dolls were wound by a woman with experience, usually the eldest in the family. The materials chosen were simple - fabric, threads, ribbons, straw, beads. But at the same time, the motanka dolls turned out to be bright and playful. The most important thing is that such a talisman can be made at home without much difficulty.

For home and other premises

Amulets for home protection are even easier to make than personal talismans. But you shouldn’t be deceived by this primitiveness, because they all contain a piece of nature. It is she who influences their strength.

It is known that the Slavs used salt to protect their homes. They washed the floor with salt water, sprinkled salt at the threshold, sewed a bag of salt, and then hung it over the entrance. Thursday salt is popularly considered to be a particularly strong salt. In this article we talked about how Thursday salt differs from regular salt and how to make it.

In addition, wreaths of garlic and red pepper were used - they were hung in the kitchen. But for residential premises the protective symbol Alatyr was more often used. He warded off the evil eye and damage from the family and made the atmosphere in the house friendly.

You can and should make homemade amulets yourself - this way their power will be maximum.

Embroidery

When there was no Internet, women did more handicrafts. Many people still do this, but consider sewing or knitting just a hobby. Previously, it was a necessity - to make a shirt for your husband or son, or to sew a scarf for yourself.

Embroidery was not just an art, but real magic. An experienced craftswoman wove into beautiful ornaments symbols of good luck or wishes for health, signs that repel evil spirits. Therefore, symbols such as Alatyr, Burdock of Happiness, and Makosh often appeared on clothes.

Other

Many people are surprised that amulets are made from herbs. But we will surprise you even more - in fact, they are even made from dough! To do this, they prepare a special salted dough, and then sculpt various figures from it - a horseshoe, a house elf, a sun, a basket of vegetables, a house surrounded by sunflowers.

When the figures are baked, they need to be painted and decorated with grain, dried berries, dried peppers or seeds. All these little things will make the amulet stronger.

Another amulet that came to us from the past is a pin. It is believed that it draws out negative energy from a person. To make the talisman more powerful, decorate it with a red ribbon or a pendant with the Eye of Fatima.

From paper

You can also make a magic wand from plain paper. After all, it is made of wood.

To obtain a magical assistant, you need to take a completely new sheet of paper and make a roll of it, as thin as possible in width. The length should be between 20-40 centimeters.

The ritual will also require fresh leaves of some plant. Eight or 10 pieces, it is important that their number is even. You will also need a few teaspoons of salt and sugar.

The ritual can be performed at any time, but the presence of sunlight in the room is completely undesirable.

  1. To begin the ceremony, the paper one is placed on a clean table.
  2. Leaves are laid out on both sides in equal quantities.
  3. Salt is sprinkled on them on the left so that it is on each leaf, and sugar is sprinkled on the right.
  4. Then the following conspiracy is slowly pronounced 5 times: “I conjure you to become magical and be my faithful assistant in all my good intentions.”

After this, all that remains is to keep the wand with you for a couple of days and the real magical paper object is completely ready. Under no circumstances should you show it to anyone, especially until it has absorbed its power. And even after that it is undesirable.

It is perfect for love spells. Paper is not intended for harsh forceful influence. Unfortunately, its service life will be short due to the fact that it wears out quickly. And you are allowed to make another stick only after a year. Therefore, it is better to handle paper very carefully.

Choose according to purpose

Making amulets with your own hands is a simple task. It is within the reach of anyone who has the necessary materials and a little free time.

For luck and wealth

One of the main Slavic symbols of good luck was the horse shoe. In fact, the horseshoe was used as an amulet in many countries. It so happened that this custom took root among us.

Over time, the Slavs began not only to hang a real horseshoe, but also learned to sculpt it themselves - from dough. But for this magnet for happiness to work, you need to know how to hang a horseshoe correctly.

Another Slavic talisman that brings good luck is a string with knots (aka nauz). Our article about knots will reveal to you all the secrets of knot magic.

Feng Shui experts advise those who want to get rich to think about a money tree. A real money tree (like a money tree made from banknotes yourself) will improve your financial condition.

For love

Various paired figures will serve as an excellent talisman of love.

You can fill your life with love with the help of a simple homemade talisman - a bag of aromatic spices. We described how to make it in the article about love amulets. And for those who cannot carry a bag of spices with them, we recommend turning to the Zhelannitsa amulet. In general, this doll can fulfill any desire, but if your goal is to find a couple or get married, she will help with this. Make a doll and make your deepest wish for it.

According to Feng Shui, even an ordinary photo of a couple can become a love talisman. Take a photo with your loved one and place it on your bedside table - the photo will definitely bring harmony to your relationship.

For luck

Slavic women associated happiness with prosperity and family idyll. But to start a family, you must first get married. That is why our ancestors had so many love amulets (as well as those that had such functions in addition to others, more primary ones - like Ladinets or Lunnitsa).

When a girl became a woman, her assistants changed. Slavic women made the Ten-Handed doll to help with household chores. They also made Veduchka. The second doll helped raise the children.

If happiness for you is not in the family, which is quite common nowadays, then among the symbols of happiness from all over the world you will definitely find the right one and be able to make it.

To your health

A broom can not only sweep, but also protect the house.

The ancient Slavs believed that all diseases appear from negative energy coming from evil spirits or envious people. To protect the family, they made many amulets.

Some were placed around the house, others were carried around with them. Among those that settled in the hut were a decorative broom and Lichomaniac dolls. Also, bouquets made from dried herbs were hung around the rooms. And when leaving the house, they took the Herbalist doll with them.

Witch bottles

Our great-grandmothers used similar amulets: their range of action is very wide and depends on what you fill them with. The most commonly used are certain dried herbs, plant seeds, sharp metal objects and a variety of liquids.

Witch bottles

Making it yourself is quite simple: just prepare everything you need in advance and carefully fill the glass container with everything you need in the prescribed order. If necessary, say certain words, but often it is enough to simply put the right emotions into the ritual of filling the amulet.

For different types of amulet, you should use different fillers:

  • Money bottle: the container should be green, it is filled with ancient coins, small denomination coins and large denomination coins. They also take wheat grains, sesame seeds, several cinnamon sticks and cloves, allspice peas and Beijing nuts. This bottle should be sealed with a green wax candle.
  • Protective bottle: filled with rosemary sprigs, red wine, some needles and pins. This amulet is sealed with black or red wax.
  • Love witch bottle: it must contain a photo of a man, if he is not there, write his full name on white paper. Also add fresh or dried lavender and clove flowers and a little natural honey.

Witch bottle

Such bottles should be left in a visible place at home; in addition to their protective functions, they will perfectly decorate your interior.

How to clean and charge the amulet

Like any other thing, the amulet wears out. At the same time, outwardly it may look the same as before, but it no longer brings good luck. So, making a talisman is only part of the job. To prevent talismans from losing their power, do not forget to cleanse them of energy dirt.

Simple cleaning methods:

  1. Salt . Table salt (sea bath salt too) will quickly draw out negative energy from the amulet. Place it in a container, cover it to the top with salt and leave overnight. According to the rules, this salt cannot be eaten, so then just get rid of it.
  2. Water . It is better to use spring water - it is stronger than tap water in such matters. Is she not there? Replace with tap water, being sure to hold the talisman under running water.
  3. Fire . Particularly evil witches were burned at the stake. And for a reason. In the Middle Ages they believed that fire destroys the most powerful evil. Esotericists claim that flame is truly capable of purifying energy.

To cleanse with fire, the flame of an ordinary candle is sufficient.

After cleaning comes activation. To imbue the amulet with power, do one of these things:

  • read a plot suitable for the occasion over it;
  • make sure that the object remains in the sun for several hours - a windowsill, grass in the garden, a table in a gazebo - any of these places will do;
  • bury it in the ground at noon, leaving it there until the morning.

Amulet concept

An amulet is a certain thing designed to protect you from a certain trouble, both magical and natural. An amulet created by you yourself will have the greatest power, since such an action makes it possible to fill the amulet with the right energy, similar in characteristics to your aura.

Do not be upset if your talents in needlework are very limited: among all the existing methods of making a protective amulet, you will certainly be able to choose the one that is suitable for you. In addition, in such a ritual, what is more important is not how you make the craft, but what thoughts and emotions you put into it.

How to part with a talisman

Charms do not last forever, especially homemade ones. Eventually they wear out so much that they have to be disposed of. Unspoken magical laws prohibit throwing amulets in a landfill, and there are several reasons for this:

  • One of the ill-wishers or just random passers-by may find an object, and then use it to cast a love spell or cause damage.
  • This is just plain disrespect. The amulet protected you for a long time, and you got rid of it like ordinary garbage.

But how then to part with the amulet? First of all, say goodbye to him. Remember how much good the amulet has brought into your life and say thank you. Not necessarily out loud.

What to do after:

  • Burn the talisman away from home. This is done so that the smoke does not reach it, along with which bad energy comes out.
  • Throw it into a lake or river. But this method is not suitable for everyone. If your talisman is light, it is better to burn it. If this is not done, the thing will float on the surface of the water and then a stranger will pick it up.

That's all! You said goodbye to the amulet as expected. Now you can make a new one with a clear conscience, so as not to be left without protection.
