The Equal Cross is a symbol of Solar myths

The Sun Cross amulet was used by different peoples in ancient times. It contained exclusively positive energy. This symbol was often found on household items and clothing. The power of the talisman was hidden in the runic interpretation. It was actively used by people who had small children who were engaged in learning.

The Heavenly Cross is one of the Slavic amulets that are still popular today. Its action is aimed directly at protecting its owner and helping to restore his spiritual strength. Such a powerful amulet can change a person’s life for the better.

Legend of the amulet

Amulet Solar Cross
The magical symbol Solar Cross protected a person from temptations and enticements that negatively affected spiritual purity. Slavic belief says that the Solar Cross helps strengthen willpower, get rid of doubts and bad thoughts.

It helps in making the right decisions and strengthens weakened faith in a particular goal.

The solar cross or foot and mouth disease, as it is also called, was very popular in ancient times. The talisman symbolized the sun and its inherent endless energy.

The Heavenly Cross is a mirror image of the Sun Sign.
Despite the fact that both symbols are often used together, each of them has a special meaning. Important! The solar cross is filled with the energy of the luminary, so it is a very strong amulet. In ancient times, priests used it during various rituals, including those aimed at protecting against the evil eye and damage.

Heavenly Cross
The Heavenly Cross has another name - Ancestor, which means “forefather, founder of the family.” According to ancient Slavic beliefs, each clan has its own patron, who largely determines how the descendants will live, gives them his wisdom and instructs.

The deep mystical symbol of the Heavenly Cross means the connection of generations, an appeal to roots and traditions.

Important! Although this symbol resembles in appearance the swastika, which was desecrated by the Nazis in the first half of the twentieth century, it has a different meaning and a different origin.

The Heavenly Cross, like the Solar Cross, is a solar symbol. The difference between them lies in the symbolic overtones: the first amulet tends to connect with ancestors, the second is aimed at the future.

In politics

De facto emblem of the Nazi puppet government regime in Norway 1942–1945, combining the Solar Cross (the symbol of Nashunal Samling) with an eagle inspired by the coat of arms of Nazi Germany.
The Norwegian Nazi National Unity Party (Nasjonal Samling) used a gold Solar Cross on a red background as its official symbol from 1933 to 1945. The cross in a circle refers to St. Olaf, the patron saint of Norway, and the colors represent the coat of arms of Norway.

Who is the symbol suitable for?

A talisman filled with the energy of the sun is also revered in modern society. Many magicians believe that this symbol is endowed with great power and has the ability to protect several generations of the Family.

This is a universal talisman, suitable for both men and women. The amulet conveys the experience of ancestors to the wearer, gives confidence in the future, and enlightens the mind.

It is recommended to have such a talisman:

  • teachers;
  • representatives of creative professions;
  • athletes.

An amulet filled with the energy of a heavenly body is worth making or buying for young parents to pass on material and spiritual values to their children. Traditionally, it is worn by people who have reached a certain level of wisdom.

The amulet opens up the possibility of inner knowledge and provides connections with ancestors. This is what modern people need most.

Sunny Foot and Mouth Disease

Such an amulet will be especially useful for those who have lost their way in life, have lost faith in themselves, feel chronic fatigue, and lack of energy. It can be worn by people of different ages, social status and gender.

Solar Foot and Mouth Disease will help its owner restore energy balance. After starting to use it, peace appears in the soul, a person gains clarity of thinking, begins to soberly evaluate his own actions, and becomes more decisive. Life improves in all areas.

The heavenly cross primarily gives protection to its owner, but not in the common sense. He protects not from ill-wishers, but from his own destructive intentions. Such an amulet is necessary primarily for those who feel that they are losing their love for life, faith and strength to fight.

The Heavenly Cross amulet is necessary for every person, because we have both a light and a dark side. It will help you overcome unworthy impulses within yourself and will make you feel that your ancestors would not approve of your action.

Often such amulets are given to children. This is necessary in order to protect them from unkind people, to save them from harmful influences, and to protect them from evil intentions. It should also be worn when a person goes to an important event, the outcome of which would like to be positive.

The Heavenly Cross is also necessary in the following cases:

before a complex operation, when the patient is very afraid for his life; people working with those who have lost their moral character - police officers, district police officers, correctional colony employees; those who have lost faith in good and bright feel the need for spiritual support.

Such a talisman helps all those who take the path of spiritual development, renounce their dark self, and pacify their unworthy intentions. The amulet gives a powerful connection with the family and the protection of the Higher powers.

The Equal Cross is a symbol of Solar myths

I am continuing a series of posts about the cross and its history.

The claim,” writes H. P. Blavatsky in “Isis Unveiled,” “that the cross is a purely Christian symbol introduced in our era, is truly strange when we read that already Ezekiel (the Jewish prophet of the pre-Christian era - ed.) imprinted on the foreheads of the people of Judah who feared the Lord (Ezekiel, IX, 4) the sign of Tau... In the ancient Hebrew scriptures this sign was depicted like this, but in the original Egyptian hieroglyphs - as a perfect Christian cross.”

H. P. Blavatsky, both in “The Secret Doctrine” and in “Isis Unveiled”, devotes enough space to explaining some aspects of one of the most ancient symbols, known to all ancient peoples many thousands of years before the Birth of Jesus Christ, and therefore the advent of Christianity.

This multifaceted symbol is the Cross.

H. P. Blavatsky shows various transformations

The original Equal-ended Cross –

On the pages of Anthropogenesis of the “Secret Doctrine” (p. 332), E. P. Blavatsky explains the most complex cosmogonic and physiological significance of such a seemingly simple combination of two lines intersected at right angles, forming the simplest figure, the starting point for all subsequent crosses. Look further, there are many interesting pictures under the cut...

The original Equal Cross, as a symbol of the intersection of the movement of the Sun and Moon during the spring equinox, was immediately recognized by us. We already know - this is a symbol of the Resurrection of the Solar God!

Since the Equal Cross is associated with the Solar myth, and therefore it is found among all the ancient peoples of the Earth.

We see such a cross on the rocks of Central Asia in Ancient Egypt, and in pre-Christian Scandinavia, and in Ancient Russia, and in ancient Troy (until recently, until it was excavated by Schliemann, which was nothing more than a myth from Homer’s poem) .

We find this Cross even on the giant stone idols of Easter Island, which survived not only the Great Flood (and therefore Atlantis), but even Lemuria.

The Equal Cross is not at all the cross that we see everywhere now, both among Catholics and Orthodox Christians: this cross has one end (vertical) much longer. One of the meanings of such a symbol is the Crucifixion Cross of the ancient Egyptian Mysteries.

The Equal Cross gives rise to all types of crosses, which means it includes the meaning of each. But first of all, this Cross expresses the main law of life, which includes other laws - the Law of Balance. This law is the most important among both spiritual and physical laws.

All Life in the Cosmos, in human society and in every person is built on this foundation. If a person does not have balance, he will have no peace from people, but most importantly – from himself. If there is no balance in human society, there is no harmony in development on Earth, there is no beauty, but there is plenty of suffering and ugliness. It is in the triumph of the Equal Cross in humanity that there is a guarantee of peace on the planet, the happiness of people and the flourishing of Culture.

Unfortunately, the Teachers of Shambhala say (and each of us, knowing ourselves and communicating with other people, will immediately agree with what was said), truly balanced people in humanity are still a unique phenomenon, out of the ordinary.

The reason for our imbalance - a very serious deficiency - is explained by the Teachers as incorrect or unhealthy development of the senses and neglect of thinking. “The art of thinking has been rejected, and it is not mentioned anywhere in schools ,” says the Lord of Shambhala with grief (Supramundane, §713) . And if ignorance cannot be judged , then ignorance must be judged severely, for if the first is curable, then the second is incorrigible. But, of course, you need to be able to recognize where the border between ignorance and ignorance lies. The most revealing feature of ignorance is conceit.

From century to century our will directs us to everything external, material, and transitory. But no one suggests that we give up material things. However, for some reason we pretend that we do not hear what the Wise have been telling us from generation to generation: only by balancing the material and spiritual can we achieve a true sense of happiness on Earth. But, rushing towards everything external, we are still not in a hurry to develop our inner supermundane world, although the Teachers say: “The awareness of the Supermundane does not only come from outside, it arises within us . (Aboveground, § 714)

It is on the Equal-ended Cross that all manifested life, all of Being, stands.

The Equal Cross is a symbol of the First Cause of all things. This is the First Cause, i.e. Alpha, as Christ would say, and the Last, or Omega, as He would say.

The teachers of Shambhala teach that without the action of this law, life cannot be manifested in any form whatsoever - neither spiritual, nor mental, nor physical. The world would be empty and dark if this law did not apply.

The Equal Cross is a symbol of the One Life , manifested everywhere in two aspects, two Principles : Feminine (horizontal line) and Masculine (vertical). For life to be harmonious, the principles must be in balance - equal in rights, equal in value, equally in demand. (Let me remind you that in the humanity of the Earth, the division into two sexes of the androgynous person occurred precisely when a balance of spirit and matter was established in the nature of the Earth - between the Third and Fourth Root Races, more than 18.5 million years ago).

The Equal-ended Cross appeared simultaneously with the Circle and in fact is only another expression of it.

We can say that the Circle is an expression of the Cross - these two symbols are interchangeable and inseparable in their hidden meaning. (Anyone who is interested in ancient symbolism will find a lot of interesting and unexpected things for themselves if, over time, slowly, they begin to study the “Secret Doctrine” of H. P. Blavatsky and her “Isis Unveiled.”)

This Original Equal Cross is the original Swastika - the oldest and most sacred symbol of humanity, which after the Second World War suddenly became a real bogeyman for European people.

Therefore, I consider it necessary to help the young reader overcome prejudice and lead to ignorance .

The swastika is a symbol of Eternal Movement, Eternal Life.

The Equal Cross cannot be motionless!

Life is an eternal Movement that unfolds in a spiral in Infinity. And therefore the symbol of Life - the Equal Cross - cannot be motionless!

Each turn of the Spiral of Evolution is higher than the previous one , but before you can rise to it (this ascent-ascent in a turn is also called evolutionary, or simply evolution), you need to go down (the descent-descent is called involution).

When the Phoenix is resurrected in a new Cycle of Life, all-creating burst out from the four ends of the Equal Cross . At the same time, the cross begins to rotate - it moves with the reactive force of fiery jets. (To help the imagination, you just have to remember fireworks. Almost always among the fiery figures there is an equal-armed cross, to the ends of which rockets are attached. The bursting lights rotate the cross, turning it into a fiery swastika. Here we also see proof of what was said earlier that the Circle and the Cross inseparable and interchangeable and are simply different expressions of each other.)

The cross can move both clockwise (symbolizing evolution ) and counterclockwise (symbolizing involution ). In this case, the following figures are formed:

moves clockwise – ; against - .

This self-moving Cross in a Circle is the Cross of the Eternal Resurrection. It is called SWASTIKA and is a world heritage.

The swastika is the most sacred and mystical sign of all ancient peoples, both East and West, and above all the inhabitants of the Land of the Aryans (Aryavarta), many millennia ago located in the north of India. (Aryas, or Aryans, are the progenitors of our Root Race - the Fifth in a row, which is called Aryan thanks to them.)

We meet the swastika everywhere in the ancient world: in Egypt and China, in Mongolia and Tibet, in ancient Greece and Peru, Babylon and Rome, Assyria and Russia, etc. To name all the laws that the Swastika concludes, a separate book is needed. For Buddhists, Chinese, and Mongols, Swastika means “Ten Thousand Truths,” relating to the secrets of the visible and invisible Universe, Primordial Cosmogony and Theogony. Those initiated into the secrets of this sign could outline with mathematical precision the evolution of the Cosmos, the origin of man and other types of life.

Here we will learn briefly only about some of the symbols that this rather simple sign of all the ancient peoples of the planet contains.

The swastika is a fiery emblem of the activity of Cosmic Electricity, the basis of Life.

The swastika is the “four arms” of the omnipotent Indian Deity of Fire-Agni, which, if we continue, go into... Infinity, embracing everything, transforming everything, endlessly improving everything in its eternal and cyclical progression.

The swastika is a symbol of the Two Principles and their synthesis. The horizontal line of the Swastika symbolizes Matter (or the Feminine Principle), the vertical line symbolizes the Spirit (or the Masculine Principle). This sign includes all pairs of opposites.* We will talk about the meaning of the balance of pairs of opposites in life and the need to accommodate them in consciousness in the fourth book. We learn that if a person does not yet have such a property, he should not waste time studying the Sacred Knowledge, because this will only cause harm. It’s the same as if a person, trying to comprehend the hidden laws of the world, went to the hospital and demanded that a chip (microcircuit) be sewn into his brain with the Stanzas of the Book of Dzyan, the Teaching of Living Ethics, the Teaching of the Temple, etc. written on it. Will such a transplant cause a person's consciousness to expand? of which the Life of the Cosmos and the life of man consists (spirit and matter, Light and darkness, heavenly and earthly, knowledge and ignorance, beginning and end, end and infinity, love and hate, birth and death, negative and positive, passive and active, plus and minus, day and night, birth and death, yes and no, it is possible and it is impossible, etc., etc. But in its balanced (harmonious) combination, the Swastika symbolizes not the duality of Life, but unity - the One Element, the One Agni -Fire that creates all things.

The most ancient Orthodox Church of St. Sophia in Rus' is in Kyiv. The temple was founded in 1037. In the St. Sophia Cathedral, the Holy Swastika crowns the Holy Order. Here is a mosaic on the right side of the altar and a fragment of the central part. Photos by A. Radchenko. Photographs of the altar were taken with the permission of the management of the cathedral-museum.

The swastika is a symbol of the constant rotation of Worlds and Cycles. The movement is eternal and cyclical. But it, like everything that exists, consists of two opposites. This is the Exhalation and Inhalation of the Absolute-Parabrahman. Exhalation and Inhalation (Manvantara and Pralaya) are evolution and involution, unfolding of life and coagulation. This is Being and Non-Being.

Evolution has only two types of movement - centrifugal and centripetal. And these laws are reflected in the Swastika, rotating clockwise or with the Sun) and counterclockwise .

Centrifugal force will mean that a person gravitates towards the bottom, towards everything material earthly gravity prevails in him earthly consciousness is developed. He builds life on a foundation laid with earthly treasures. Such a person (if we compare him with a planet revolving around the Sun) will rush away from the Light, from the Sun, he is powerfully attracted by the other pole - darkness. If such a movement continues from life to life, then in the end such a person will actually go into darkness and turn into cosmic trash.

Centripetal force means that a person rushes towards heavenly treasures. Such a person is drawn to the sun - the spiritual source of his own universe , and through it - to the general cosmic Spiritual Sun - to the CHRIST OF THE WORLD, to the heart of the MOTHER OF THE WORLD.

It’s bad when a person gets caught up in the material and rejects the spiritual. But it is just as bad when a person rejects matter from life to life. Such a person begins to despise the Earth and life on it. With all his might, he strives to immediately return back to his spiritual source, which sent him to Earth. But such a person does not want to participate in life on Earth, because in comparison with Heaven, it is dark, heavy, dangerous and, moreover, limits the knowledge and creativity of the spirit. Such a person is not useful to evolution; he is not a balanced cross.

But if a person, in his natural evolutionary movement, achieves a balance between the spiritual and the material, then his aspiration towards his Spiritual Sun does not disappear or decrease at all. On the contrary, it is growing, accelerating. In the end his soul will merge with this Sun-Christ.

This ancient temple is characterized by ceramic decoration and a unique ornament in the form of a ribbon of continuous Holy Swastika, framing its upper part along the entire perimeter. (Top left – ornamental element)

If we take a closer look at the Swastika, we will see in it the Unity of the World in its diversity. This sign is actually the Great Unit. Look - it is reflected in eight units. You can add any number of units to any unit, resulting in any number. The ancient Sages knew that the world is based on number, because it composes any shape (starting with a triangle).

In the Swastika we also see the number Four in different meanings. This is also a symbol of the four parts of the world: East, West, North and South. These are the four Elements, the four Elements that make up the manifested Universe. These are the four Cycles of Life, of which the life of the Cosmos, nature, and man consists. These cycles have many aspects and names: these are the Yugas: Satya, Dvapara, Treta, Kali; this is a person’s childhood, adolescence, youth and old age; These are the seasons of nature - spring, summer, autumn, winter. This is Four - the magical and scientific quaternity, the main key that opens the door of any science (both physical, materialistic, and spiritual).

The swastika indicates six directions of Space: top - bottom, left - right, from us and - to us and symbolizes the number Six - the number of the manifested, physical Nature of the Cosmos.

The Swastika also encrypts the basic number of Nature, Space, Earth, and man - Seven. After all, this sign is actually made up of four sevens. 4 x 7 = 28. The number 28 is extremely penetrating. In particular, we see it in the four phases of the Moon, which replace each other every seven days.

In Ancient Egypt and India, the Swastika was a protective talisman and a symbol of saving power. In Egypt, it was placed on the chest of a deceased sage.

Vologda prastavas (fragments). XIX century. These unique business cards of ancient Indian (more precisely, Aryan) antiquity were made in the heart of the Hyperborean land, which is known as Ros, Rus, Russia * * I would like to call the ornaments made in the 19th century by peasant women of the Vologda province with a colored entanglement, a kind of song of praise sung by the hand and the heart of Russian peasant women in honor of... Agni - the ancient Indian powerful God of Fire, symbolized by the Sacred Swastika. I will try, in just a few words, to convey my thoughts to the reader.

The unique 5-year Trans-Himalayan expedition of academician N.K. Roerich proved the kinship of human cultures. Roerich also proved the close relationship of the brother languages - Russian and Sanskrit (the language of the ancient Aryans, Aryans), which, having come from somewhere in the north to India in ancient times, built, as mentioned earlier, in the foothills of the Himalayas a brilliant civilization - Aryavarta. The unity of the ancient cultures of Rus' and India was then confirmed by other Russian researchers. In the Russian colloquial language, as well as in the ancient names of rivers, mainly in the Russian North, in the names of many settlements and mountain peaks one can find completely unchanged Sanskrit names, which are found in the world-famous ancient Indian epic “Mahabharata”. (For example, there are the Northern Russian rivers Kailasa, Ganga, Gangreka, Alaka, Anga, Kaya, etc.).

But let's get back to embroidery. In Vologda dialects, the word “prastava” means a woven or embroidered stripe that decorates the hems of festive clothes, the ends of towels, etc. The Old Russian word “prastava” is... a Sanskrit word that originally meant... “song of praise.”

But what, one might ask, does a “song of praise” (which is synonymous with “hymn”) have to do with... embroidery?

The fact is that in the ancient hymns of the Rigveda (and the Vedas, we repeat, are more than 20 thousand years old), sacred speech is constantly compared with the ornament of fabric, and the poetic creativity of the sages with weaving , and therefore the expressions “weave a hymn”, “fabric of a hymn” are often used "

As we see, the composers of the sacred scientific hymns of the Rig Veda (and most of them are dedicated to Agni - the God of Fire) took an image from weavers and embroiderers for a remarkably intelligible poetic comparison. And the embroiderers took their sacred signs from the sages for their ornamental hymns and, after thousands of years, carefully brought them to the very threshold of the Age of Fire. And their “song of praise,” sung with their hands, did not in the least distort the image of the ancient symbol.

(For more information about ancient Russian embroidery, see the magazine “Science and Life”, No. 5, 1997, Moscow. Article by S. Zharikova, candidate of historical sciences from Vologda - “Who are we in this old Europe?”)

The swastika is found in place of the heart in images of Buddha (Tibet, Mongolia). It is applied to the heart of living initiates, and is sometimes burned onto the body with fire. The priests of ancient Troy, Chaldea, Assyria, Peru, and Rome depicted the Swastika on the walls of their Cyclopean buildings. The ancient Slavs, including Russian peasant women until the 19th century, embroidered it on their towels and on festive clothes.

At the end of the Dark Age (Kali Yuga), the Swastika, like everything sacred, was humiliated. This happened even in the border lands of the once great Tibet in its spirituality. In the early 30s of the 20th century, Tibet rejected the Messengers of Shambhala, who always appear to help the people in the most difficult times. And as a result of not accepting the Higher Help, the people always receive a full shower of their aggravated karma. The teachers of Shambhala left Tibet, and it lost its independence and became mired in drunkenness and witchcraft. The most sacred and mystical symbol of the peoples in Tibet in the second half of the twentieth century could even be seen on the headdresses of black sorcerers.

As you know, Hitler sent a secret expedition to witchcraft Tibet. The secrets of the fascist Reich are not all known yet, but the whole world knows that Hitler demonstrated the same thing as the Tibetan black sorcerers (dugpa). He also humiliated the ancient symbol of all nations by taking the Sacred Swastika as his banner. As a result, in the minds of the peoples of Europe, the Swastika began to be perceived as a symbol of fascism, a symbol of monstrous violence. Therefore, many Westerners who survived the Second World War, having no idea about the origin of ancient symbolism, feel horror at just one glance at the Swastika. But in India and other Asian countries, the Swastika to this day retains its original sacred and protective meaning. And this attitude, without a doubt, will carry over into the future of humanity.

Let's name the later synonyms of the Swastika among different peoples - Thor's Hammer, Hermetic Cross, Jain Cross.

About the Crucifixion Cross and other pre-Christian Crosses

A little about the ancient Egyptian Tau. Latin Cross? But how did it end up in the hand of the son of the ancient Egyptian Gods Isis and Osiris?

There are many varieties of the Original Cross.

The Equal Cross in a Circle is the Cross of Peace, the symbol of the Egyptian Hermetic philosophers (followers of Hermes).

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891)

“The Secret Doctrine”, volume 2, Archaic symbolism of the world’s religions, Section 8

... we should not look for the beginning of the origin of the cross and the circle in the Bible, but beyond the Flood. The cross and the circle are a universal concept - and as old as the human mind itself. “Crucify before (not against) the Sun” is a phrase used at the Initiation. It came from Egypt, but its origin was in India. The mystery can only be solved by searching for its key in the Mysteries of Initiation. In Egypt, the Initiated Adept, who successfully passed through all the tests, was not nailed down, but simply tied to the bed, in the form of Tau, and in India in the form of the Swastika, without four additional extensions (not), then he was plunged into deep sleep - the “Sleep of Siloam” , as this dream is still called among the Initiates in Asia Minor, Syria and even in upper Egypt. He was left in this state for three days and three nights...

Among the oldest is the Egyptian Cross, or the Cross of the Crucifixion. This astronomical cross was used for mystical purposes long before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. It was an integral part of the sacred rituals of all ancient peoples: Egypt, India (where it is still placed on the forehead of the spiritual disciple-chela), Babylon, Greece, China, Mexico, Peru. The Crucifixion is found on the chest of Egyptian mummies. Ancient Asian robes are all strewn with these crosses.

The oldest Egyptian Crucifixion Cross is designated -. This Cross is called Tau. It would later become a letter in the alphabet of the ancient Greeks. It was with her that the word “Theos” - “God” began. Hence – Theosophy, Divine Wisdom (“Sophia” – “Wisdom”). The symbol of Theosophy was Tau, entwined with the Serpent, which in its highest aspect (as opposed to its lower - the symbol of evil) was a symbol of the Highest Wisdom. Tau was worn around the neck of the Egyptian Initiates, who were called “Sacred Serpents”.

Based on archaeological, historical and other evidence, we get a reliable picture of the prevalence of the Crucifixion many thousands of years before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.

But the Egyptian Cross of the Crucifixion was never an instrument of torture among ancient peoples and a “tree of shame” , like among the Romans. Tau is a symbol of the “Tree of Life” - eternal life. It was used in the Egyptian and Greek Mysteries dedicated to the God Bacchus and Eleusinia (as the Greeks called the divine abode of Light and Glory).

In Ancient Egypt, the initiated neophyte was “crucified” for the night on a wooden bed in the form of a Tau: his arms were spread out to the sides and tied with ropes to the top crossbar. This meant that the Initiate seemed to die to everything carnal; he showed that he had crucified his mortal flesh, and united his astral soul with the divine spirit. Thus spiritually transformed - “born again” - the Initiate voluntarily gave himself to serve the world.

N.K. Roerich. Idols

Egyptian Tau is a symbol of dual generative power. It was a religious emblem and at the same time a magical talisman. As a talisman it was considered a powerful remedy against epilepsy and obsession.

It was the mystical Egyptian Tau - as the “sign of the Living God” - that was brought in the vision of St. John Angels to “set a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our Lord.” (Revelation of St. John, 14:1).

Tau was the crutch of St. Anthony (the Egyptian hermit) and the cross of St. Philip.

There is another type of Egyptian Tau - a cross with a handle (in Latin - Crux ansata). In Egypt, this symbol of immortality and law was called the Ankh. The handle belonged to the Goddess Isis - the world sphere. Such a Cross can be seen in the hands of almost every ancient God. This is the Cross of the ancient pharaohs. It also belonged and belongs to the Initiated Adepts of each nation. The Egyptian hilted Tau, the Ankh, was taken by the Gnostics and Kabalists. Later it was transformed into the so-called Mirror of Venus -.

The original Cross with an elongated vertical is called the Latin Cross, although it has nothing in common with the Latins. This name appeared thanks to archaeologists. Christians took the so-called Latin Cross from Buddhist missionaries. And they, in turn, brought it about three centuries before the birth of Christ, from India, where it is found to this day. This Cross is so ancient that the son of Isis and Osiris, Horus, was sometimes depicted with such a long Cross.

Labarum of Constantine. We see here the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet - Alpha and Omega.

Cross called Labarum of Constantine. The Roman Emperor Constantine (285-337, founder of Constantinople) replaced the eagle at the peak of the banner carried in front of the Roman emperors with a monogram of the letters X and P , taken from the initial syllable of the word XP istos. But in fact, Labarum is a sign known many centuries before Constantine and Christianity. This is the sign of the Egyptian God Osiris and Horus and the emblem of Etruria (pre-Roman civilization).

The Greek Pectoral Cross is also of Egyptian origin. There was a time when the Church Fathers called it “the invention of the devil.” Now all Orthodox clergy wear it.

The cross, which Christians call the Maltese cross, adorned the chest of the Assyrian king long before the birth of the Order of Malta Crusaders.

Even from this little information briefly given, it is clear how widespread the Cross is among the ancient peoples of the Earth, what knowledge is hidden in each of its varieties, how much more the pre-Christian peoples of the planet knew about it.

You can learn about how diverse, complex and all-pervasive the symbolism of the Cross is from “The Secret Doctrine” (volume 2). But this is easy to guess even from the lines below, taken from E. P. Blavatsky’s article “Lamas and Druze”. Let us pay attention to the words I have highlighted regarding the word “Lama”. *The word “lama” in Tibetan means “path”, “road”. But in a figurative sense, this is “the path leading to salvation.” Compare with Christ’s expression “I am the way.”

Lamas are monks and teachers, followers of the northern, Mongolian-Tibetan branch of Buddhism, called Lamaism. In the XIV century. the founder of Lamaism, the Great Teacher Zhe Tsongkhapa, seeing how much Buddhism had become distorted, cleared it of centuries-old layers, of literal interpretation and distortion. But centuries later, Lamaism was again corrupted, like all other religions, only to a lesser extent. In Russia, followers of Lamaism live mainly in Buryatia, Tuva, and Kalmykia. As already mentioned, the Mahatmas - the Teachers of Shambhala - left Tibet in the early 30s of the 20th century and, as a consequence of this, the ancient country of great spiritual culture lost spiritual support at the transition of the Ages. Tibet quickly began to plunge into the darkness of ignorance and soon, as predicted, lost its independence, and its spiritual and secular head, the Dalai Lama, was expelled by the Chinese authorities and forced to live in exile. (Almost simultaneously, in 1926, the Himalayan Mahatmas also offered help to the government of the USSR - through the Roerich family, who arrived in Moscow. But at the most decisive turn, the USSR refused such strange help and thereby preferred the most difficult path, which ended in the collapse of the country and almost instantaneous collapse of its power. The monstrous collapse of the economy was accompanied by a terrifying rampant crime, popular poverty and an unprecedented decline in morality.)

“It’s quite strange, but it (the word “Lama” - ed.) also means “ cross ”. This is... X - ten (this Roman numeral is nothing more than a type of cross, see pictures on page 300 - ed.), a symbol of perfection or perfect number , meaning ten among the Egyptians, Chinese, Phoenicians, Romans, etc. d. It is also found in Mexican non-church calendars. The Tatars call it lama - from the Scythian-Turanian word lamh...”

Meaning

Each amulet has its own characteristics and nuances, let’s consider the main ones.

Solar cross

The meaning of the Solar Cross symbol is multi-valued. This is due to its connection with the energy of the heavenly body, the wisdom of the ancestors, and eternal life. We can safely say that the sign was exclusively positive, since the Sun is the complete opposite of Darkness. Its energy instantly disperses dark forces.

On a note! This symbol is very similar to the Heavenly Cross, but it is directed in the opposite direction.

Solar cross

The presence of two crossed lines has a great influence on the lives of people wearing this Slavic amulet. These lines represent the solstice in winter and summer.

The Solar Cross talisman is used for various purposes, with its help:

  • life priorities are determined;
  • destructive thoughts are eliminated;
  • good luck is attracted;
  • The connection with the family is strengthened.

The heavenly cross is a Slavic solar symbol that has survived to our time. His image consists of two runes - “Ga”, repeated 4 times, and “Az”, indicated twice.

“Ga” means movement, development, without which it is difficult to imagine human life. “Az” is the beginning, the origins. The double repetition of the symbol denotes God himself.

Both runes together personify human nature, because each of us is created in the likeness of God. Despite the powerful symbolic overtones, the amulet has soft energy, so it can be worn by everyone without exception.

Attention! Pregnant women can also wear the amulet - it will help carry the child and make childbirth easy.
