Some useful information.

A wooden amulet is one of the most interesting and significant in the life of a Slav. Wood as a material has been available to the Slavs since time immemorial. Bronze, copper, and especially silver are metals that all Slavs could not afford. But a wooden amulet was available and could be made with your own hands. And quite easily - the material literally grew near the house. Therefore, not only various decorative household items, but also body amulets were very often made from various types of wood.

Making an amulet from wood also had a sacred meaning. Trees were literally the closest friends of the Slavs. There was even a belief that the souls of dead ancestors inhabited the trees. Remember the tradition of planting a tree on the grave of a relative, or family oak trees, etc. And therefore, wooden amulets were literally made from sacred trees, which absorbed the memory of the family. Therefore, such talismans were considered extremely strong and their protection was limitless.

Well, today it is even easier to do this than before. After all, our store offers a really wide selection of similar products.

How to protect your home? Amulets for building a house

Every person dreams of his own home. It should be warm and cozy. So that the aroma of fresh baked goods would be in the air, and laughter could be heard. But the outside world is very aggressive. Often people's envy and anger try to destroy the bright little world created with such difficulty. Amulets - objects and symbols charged in a special way - will help protect your home. It is best to start creating protection at the construction stage.

What amulets to use when laying the foundation

The beginning of construction is a very important moment; laying the foundation of a future house cannot be started on Friday or Saturday - the foundation of the house will be fragile. At this stage, several protective items are used, which are placed in the corners of the future house:

Coins and grain to attract wealth.

Wool to help the house retain heat better.

Incense for protection from evil spirits.

Coniferous tree branches for lightning protection.

Charms for building walls

When building walls, salt or saline solution is used as a talisman. If the house is built from brick, polystyrene foam concrete or other similar materials, a small amount of salt is added to the masonry mortar. If a log house is being assembled, the first crown is washed with saline solution. Thus, a ritual is performed to cleanse the future home from negative energy brought in with building materials. In the future, these simple actions will strengthen the protection of your home from the evil eye.

Charms for roofing

Roofing is considered a very important element of the roof. Its main function is a shield, not only from precipitation, but also from flows of negative energy. When constructing a roof, unopened cones are used, designed to protect the home from other people's envy and malice.

Wooden or metal figurines of animals are a barrier from evil spirits. It is better if the images are made individually, taking into account the characteristics of the house and future residents. Defenders are placed at the highest point of the building. Shapes used:

The rooster brings harmony to the family, is considered a harbinger of good luck, and a protector from fires.

Cat - symbolizes home and comfort, gives strength.

Horse - attracts prosperity and a well-fed life.

Dragon - bestows happiness.

Owl is a symbol of wisdom; guards the house at night.

Eagle - stability and prosperity.

The beginning of the ridge can be decorated with keys of prosperity and prosperity. The main thing is that the symbols are combined with each other; in this case, more does not mean better.

Amulet for setting up a heating system

You need to start work in the first phase of the moon, in this case, even the coldest winter will retain heat well. The work must be carried out by two craftsmen. The experienced one lays the foundation, the young one is in the wings. This way the system will be reliable and last a long time. Before lighting the stove or boiler for the first time, you need to burn several handfuls of grain in it. It is believed that this gift to the spirits of fire will protect the house from fire. After finishing work, it is customary to leave an offering to the brownie next to the stove.

Amulet for the house after completion of construction

Before the residents celebrate their housewarming, be sure to set aside some time to create a powerful home amulet. It is important that no one is nearby during the hexing process. Holding a burning candle in your right hand, begin walking around your home from the front door after salting.

While moving, say in a whisper: “Judas, Judas, go for now, I ask Christ, by the true cross from this house, from its threshold, do not live here, do not visit, do not stand in grief, do not shed blood, do not let tears roll, do not accumulate misfortunes, Don't bury people. Therefore, to be. Amen."

The stub of a candle is a strong amulet. Wrap it in a paper bag and hide it.

What to do with purchased and gifted amulets?

It is imperative to carry out a cleansing ritual with purchased and gifted amulets, since they can carry the negative energy of their creator.

You can clean the talisman like this:

  • put under the rays of the sun or moonlight for ten to twelve hours;
  • wash in running water for three to five minutes;
  • bury it in the ground for half an hour, after wrapping it in a bag;
  • soak in salt water for a few minutes;
  • fumigate with incense;
  • sprinkle with holy water;
  • refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

At each stage of the ritual, it is necessary to address words of gratitude to the natural force that helps to carry out the cleansing.

If the talisman was given as a gift, you need to make sure that the donor did it with the kindest and best intentions. When you are not sure of this, it is better not to leave the item in the house.

Birch

Birch is the most common tree in Russian fairy tales, epics and songs. She truly is a symbol of Rus'. Many beliefs are associated with this tree. When a girl was born in the house, a young birch tree was planted in the yard. The tree became the patron of the newborn, was connected with her energetically, and gave strength and protection.

If someone in the house fell ill, they washed him and threw the water under a birch tree. The tree took on the disease, and the person recovered. Bath brooms still drive all illnesses out of the body.

In a house under construction, birch branches were placed in the front corners so that the house would be strong and its residents healthy. Some Slavs associated birch trees with the souls of innocently murdered girls. They believed that girls’ souls were hidden in twisted or lonely birch trees.

It was also believed that spirits could hide in the branches of birch trees. Therefore, the tree should not be planted in the yard, but outside the gate. There it will bring benefit to the owners of the house and will protect the house, keeping troubles and misfortunes away from it.

What items should not be in the house

Items that should not be in the house:

  • dishes with chips and cracks do not have a positive effect on family relationships;
  • heavily worn shoes have bad energy and fill the house with it;
  • climbing potted plants can cause illness in family members;
  • dry reeds have a very negative effect on people in the house and attract serious diseases;
  • coniferous branches are allowed only for a short New Year's period;
  • palm plants bring misfortune.
