Such a mixture of religions is at odds with the opinion of experts about the incompatibility of pagan and Christian ancient symbols. However, there is nothing strange in this, because this modification was born at a time when Christianity began to take precedence over paganism, but the latter had not yet become a thing of the past.

How to wear Lunnitsa

As a rule, the Lunnitsa amulet was worn as body jewelry. Sometimes it was an independent element - for example, a pendant on a cord or earrings. In some cases, the pendant acted as an addition to the main decoration. It was attached to beads or to a belt. There is an opinion that the kokoshnik, which serves as a headdress for girls and women, is also a type of Lunnitsa amulet.
